14 English Changing the speak ers ’ sound le vel Y ou can change the speakers ’ sound distr ibution to suit your surround sound needs. For example , if you are close to the left front speaker than the right front speaker , the left front speaker might seem “ louder ” than the right one .
15 English Selecting the type of video output This setting is used to select the type of video connection between y our D VD system and TV . 1 Press SETUP . 2 Select ‘ GENERAL SETUP , ’ then press OK . 3 Press 4 to select ‘ VIDEO OUTPUT ’ , then press 2 .
16 English Selecting the languag e for Audio/Subtitle/ Disc Menu Y ou can select y our prefer red language settings so that this D VD system will automatically switches to the language for you whenev er you load in a disc. If the language selected is not availab le on the disc , the disc ’ s default setting language will be used instead.

18 English Setting the par ental control le vel This feature lets y ou set a playback limitation level. Some D VDs may ha ve a parental level assigned to the complete disc or to cer tain scenes on the disc. The r ating levels are from 1 to 8 and are countr y dependent.
