2 PORTABLE CART WARNING Carts and stands - The Component should be used only with a cart or stand that is recommended by the manufacturer. A Component and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the Component and cart combination to overturn.
3 Lend Me Y our Ears Exposure to e xtremely high noise lev els may cause permanent hearing loss. In- dividuals vary consider ably in susceptibility to noise- induced hearing loss, but nearly ev eryone will lose some hearing if exposed to suffi- ciently intense noise for a period of time .
4 REAR P ANEL DESCRIPTION MAIN INPUT This is a female XLR -type connector that accepts a balanced line-lev el signal from a mixing console or other signal source . LOOP OUT This is a male XLR -type connector that produces e xactly the same signal that is connected to the MAIN INPUT jack.
5 SIGNAL Present Indicator This LED illuminates whenev er there is a signal pr esent at the MAIN INPUT connec- tor on the rear panel. It senses the signal just after the Le vel control, so if the Le vel control is turned do wn, the SIGNAL Present indicator turns off.
6 THERMAL CONSIDERA TIONS The SA152 1 has two pow erful built-in amplifiers capable of pr oducing a combined 500 watts of po wer . As amplifiers produce heat, it is important to dissipate the heat as quickly as possible . This results in incr eased r eliability and longevity for the amplifier .
