4 Thank you for choosing the Linksys KiSS 1600 Thank you for choosing the KiSS 1600 as your new DVD & Media Player . This User Guide will guide you through the simple setup process.

6 3 Overview of the Remote Control This section explains the use of the Remote Control a. Standby: Start up the player or activate the standby mode. (The standby mode is denoted by --- on the display) b. Numeric Keypad: Enter digits in certain menus. Select a corresponding number in a list.

12 2. Video Output Selection This screen will prompt you to select the video output you will be using. Please select the same cable type that you used to connect your player to your TV . If you are uncertain of which cable you connected, the pictures will act as a rough guide.

21 Miscellaneous Settings Screen Saver: Entering this option enables you to set the number of minutes that the player will remain idle before the screen saver is activated. Front Panel Brightness: Enter this option to set the brightness of the light in the front panel display as well as the two front buttons.
22 After it has been downloaded and decompressed, you will have a .iso file on your computer . Place a blank disc in the drive of your PC. We recommend Nero Burning Rom v .6 for burning the firmware CD. Open Nero and select DISC IMAGE. Select ALL FILES, and then select the firmware file.
