11 HARDWIRE OUTPUT OPTION This product is intended to be inst alled by a qualified electrician only . 1. COMPLETEL Y R EMOVE ALL P OWER FROM THE FRAME. If the Ma inte nance Bypass is connected to the UPS, disconnect external battery sup ply . 2. Remove the en d cover plate to access th e terminal block (see Accessing ter minal block below).
12 OPERATING PROCEDURES S T ART-UP AND INITIALIZATION Follow these steps in or der to start up the GXT 6kV A UPS while connected to the Maintenance Byp ass. O N M AINTENANCE B YP ASS 1. Set the Maintenance Bypa ss switch (SW1) to UPS position. 2. Close (position I ) UPS Input switc h (SW2).
