BASIC OPERA TION P AGE 19 V arious speed playback with Shuttle Ring Y ou can play back discs at various speeds, and resume normal playback. During still picture mode, rotating and holding the SHUTTLE ring to the positions indicated gives those slow modes.

ADV ANCED OPERA TION P AGE 23 ❍ Settings are stored in memory for use any time. ❍ Y ou can store settings for up to 15 DVDs in memory . If you memorize settings for more than 15 DVDs previously memorized settings are erased in order from the least recently memorized settings.
P AGE 24 ADV ANCED OPERA TION It is possible to change the subtitle language to a different language from the one selected at the initial settings. (See page 33 for further info.) This operation works only with discs on which multiple subtitle languages are recorded.
ADV ANCED OPERA TION P AGE 25 Viewing from another angle Some DVDs may contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from a number of different angles. For these discs, the same scene can be viewed from each of these different angles using the ANGLE button.
