6 Connections CONNECT DVD PL A YER TO TV SET WITH SCA RT SOCKET Use the SCART cable to connect D VD player and your TV. Set the [Video Out] to [Composite] or [ RGB]. CONNECT DVD PL A YER TO TV SET WITH HD MI C A BLE Use the HDM I cable to connect DVD play er and your TV.
7 SYSTEM SETUP MENU OPERATION Press the SETU P button on the remote control, the SETU P MENU will be display ed. Use the up/do wn buttons for up and down movement trough the menu Press RIGH T direction butto n to enter the submenu and press left direc tion button to go back to the previous menu.
8 SYSTEM SETUP A sp ect Ratio Use this option t o select the a spect ratio. Notes: The image disp lay ratio is related to the recorded disc format. Som e disc c an n ot di splay image s in the aspect ra tio you choose. If you play a disc recorded in 4:3 f ormat on a wide screen TV, black bars will appear on t he left and right side of t he screen.

10 MP3/WM A/JPEG/MPEG4 PL AYBACK The MP3/ W MA/MPEG4 disc has s uch a directory structure a s shown picture abov e . Press D irection key t o choo s e the r oot directory and then press ENTER bu tt on to enter the sub directory. Use Direction keys to choose the desired track and press ENTER to play the s elected file.
11 PICTURE CD PL AYBACK The PICTURE CD disc has such a directory structure stru cture as s hown in the following pic ture. Press D irection key t o choose the root directory an d then pre ss ENT ER button to enter into the sub directory. Press Direction key to choose the de sired picture and then press ENTER to open the picture.
