- 7 - 8. Connecting the DVD Play er to a television Af ter setting up the DVD play er, y ou can now connect it to a television. The D VD p la ye r can be connected to a television that operates with the P AL, NTSC and SECAM standards.
- 8 - 8.3 Connection to a tele vision via video input (Composite Video) For this connection variant the television must be equipped with Audio/Video cinch sockets (Composite Video).

Connecting audio components to the D VD player Besides sound playback of DVDs, V CDs/S-VCDs and audio and MP3 CDs via the speaker of the television, to which the D VD player is connected, sound can also be played back via e xternal audio components such as a HiFi system, Dolby digital/D TS receiver or a surr ound sound system.

- 17 - Depending on the inser ted DVD/V CD/S-VCD it is possible that the contents of the DVD/V CD/s-VCD will not playback immediately , rather firs t a selection menu appears on the television screen. In this event select the menu option which will start t he playback of the film with the control button on the remote control.
