- 1 - Read the oper ating instructions carefully before initial use and k eep them for future refer ence. Pass this booklet on to whoe ver might acquire the de vice at a future date.
- 2 - Intended Usage This Micro sy stem is intended ex clusively for the playback of audio CDs, MP3-CDs, CD-R, CD-RW , and for the playback of radio pr ogrammes.

- 4 - Inser ting t he batter ies The remote contr ol requires a 3 V battery type CR2025, which has been preinstalled at the factory . T o protect against pr e- mature discharging w e have isolated the poles with a plastic strip, which you can simply pull out befor e initial operation.
- 5 - Operating the radio This device r eceives radio stations on the freq uency bands, Ultra short wave (USW or engl. FM) and Medium w ave (MW or engl. AM). The technical details of the device allo w for an adjustable fre- quency range outside of the r eceivable MW (AM) 526,5- 1606,5 kHz, and/or FM (USW) 87,5-108,0 MHz frequency ranges.
- 6 - Switching on the repeat function With the repeat function you can r epeat play individual titles or all the titles of a CD. T o repeat a single title, during playback press once the b ut- > ton MODE on the device a or on the remote control 3$ .
