- 3 - CAUTION! Potential Appliance Damage! • Only use the appliance inside buildings. • NEVER place the appliance on or close to a gas or electric cooker or a hot o ven. • The use of ancillaries not recommended by the manufacturer could cause damage to the appliance.

- 5 - Before baking Remo ving and replacing the baking mould T o take out the baking mould 4 (Fig.1): T ur n the baking mould 4 slightly in an anti-clockwise direction, until y ou can lif t it out of the Bread Baking Machine (Marking “REMOVE “ in the baking space 0 ).
- 6 - Button - Browning Le vel With the Browning Lev el button you can determine the preferred lev el of bro wning: LIGHT - MEDIUM -D ARK . This function cannot be activated with the program- mes 8.
- 7 - 8. Programme Dough (kneading) For the prepar ation of yeast dough for buns, pizza or plaits. In this Programme no baking is done. 9. Programme Jam For making jams, preserves, jellies and fruit spreads. 10. Programme Cake In this programe the ingredients ar e kneaded, allow ed to rise and then baked.
- 8 - Error Messages • If the display 7 shows "HHH" after the pro- gramme has been started, it indicates that t he temperature in the Bread Baking Machine is still too high. Stop the programme and remo ve the pow er plug. Open the appliance lid 2 and allow the machine to cool down before r e-using it.
- 9 - Warning! Before y ou bake a particular type of bread with time delay first tr y out the recipe under obser vation, to ensure that the relationships of the ingredients to each other is correct, the dough is not too fir m or too thin, or the amounts are not too large and could then possibly overflow .
- 10 - The Bread Baking Machine automatically regulates the baking temperature and time. Should the bread still be too light on completion of the baking programme, it can be af ter-bak ed using t he progr amme Baking: • Press and hold the button Start/Stop until the signal tone sounds and allow the appliance to cool down with the lid 2 open.

- 15 - What do I do if the kneading hook q is stuck in the baking mould 4 after baking? • Fill the baking form 4 with hot water and twist the kneading hook q to loosen the encr ustation underneath.
- 16 - What do I do if smoke comes fr om the baking space 0 or the ventilation slots 6 ? • Remov e t he pow er plug immediately! Allow the appliance to cool down, then remo ve the baking mould 4 . Clean the exterior of the baking mould 4 as well as the baking space 0 , as the smoke was pr obably cau- sed by food residues.
