2 Introduction *AC voltage selection The AC voltage selector switch on the rear panel is set to the voltage that prevails in the area to which the unit is shipped. Before connect- ing the power cord to your AC outlet, make sure that the setting position of this switch matches your line voltage.

10 Listening to cassette tapes Determine the playback conditions. 1 1 Select the Dolby NR mode. 2 Select the playback mode. (CT-403/KXF-W3030 only) ÷ Set to OFF the Dolby NR key when playing a tape recorded with- out using Dolby NR. 2 Start playback.

12 Skip play operation To play the tune located 4 tunes behind The DPSS (Direct Program Search System) enables the following convenient operations according to the instructions of the operation keys (these operation are however not available on both decks simultaneously).
13 Single-tune repeated playback operation When direction of tape direction indica- tor is 3 : ÷ Normal playback resumes after repeating the same tune for 16 times. ÷ Press the stop ( 7 ) key to stop playback and cancel this operation. 1 Play the tune to be repeated.
