EXTENSION HOSE ASSEMBLY 1. While aligning tabs on extension hose assembly to corresponding slots in lower hose port, insert extension hose assembly into lower hose port, Extension _" Hose _ Assemb@y_ Tab _ Hose Port 2. Rotate extension hose assembly as shown until it locks into place.
CAUTION Moving parts! To reduce the risk of personal injury, DO NOT touch the agitator when vacuum cleaner is on. Contacting the agitator while it is rotating can cut, bruise or cause other injuries. Always turn off and unplug from e_ectrlcal outlet before servicing.

i HOW TO USE HOSE AND EXTENSION WAND ] 1. Turn floor/tools selector knob to the TOOLS position when using tools. Return selector knob to FLOOR position when not using attachments. See figure 1 page 9. 2. This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a built-in extension wand.
ATTACHMENT STORAGE 1. Press button and slide extension wand back into the extension hose. Extension Wand - 2 "h- Extension Hose 2. Slide extension hose handle down and into extension hose holding bracket. Attachments should be returned to their appropriate locations on the vacuum cleaner.

DUST BIN EMPTYING WARNING Always unplug power cord from electrical outlet before performing any service on vacuum cleaner. TO REMOVE DUST BiN 1. Grasp the handle on the top of the dust bin. Press the dust bin release button. 2. Lift up and out to remove dust bin from vacuum cleaner.
FILTER iDENTiFiCATiON This vacuum cleaner has 3 filters that will need to be cleaned and/or replaced on a regular basis. _18_.
PRIMARY FILTER CLEANING it is recommended to clean filter with cold water at least every three (3) months. Check the primary filter frequently and clean when dirty. 1. Turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner. 2. Remove the dust bin. Refer to DUST BIN EMPTYING page 17.
PRE-FILTER CLEANING The pre-filter is located inside the dust bin. Check the pre-filter frequently and clean when dirty. NOTE: If necessary, the pre-filter can be removed to be cleaned with water. 1. Remove the dust bin as outlined in the DUST BIN EMPTYING section.
HEPA MEDIA EXHAUST FILTER REPLACEMENT The HEPA Media exhaust filter must be replaced when dirty. It should be replaced regularly depending on use conditions. The filter CANNOT be washed as it will lose its dust trapping ability. Refer to page 5 for replacement part number.
BELT AND AGITATOR CHANGING _WARNING Always unplug power cord from electrical outlet before performing any service on vacuum cleaner. 1. Turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner. '2. With vacuum cleaner upside down, remove four (4) screws. 3. Remove nozzle _ I cover by placing vacuum in upright /,,_ position.
10. Turn vacuum cleaner upside down, and replace four (4) screws. AGITATOR CLEANING i WARNING Always unplug power cord from electrical outlet before performing any service on vacuum cleaner. To maintain efficient cleaning, the agitator must be kept free of carpet fiber, string, or hair build-up.
CLEANING EXTERIOR AND ATTACHMENTS Unplug cord from wall outlet. Clean exterior using a clean, soft cloth that has been dipped in a solution of mild liquid detergent and water, then wrung dry. DO NOT drip water on vacuum cleaner. Wipe dry after cleaning.

Con el aspiradoro volteada hacia abajo, quite cuotro (4) tornillos. 3. Quite Io cubierto de la boquillo poniendo la aspirodora en la posici6n vertical.
CAMBIO DE LA BANDA Y DEL AGiTADOR 10. D_ vueffa a la aspiradora para instalar cuatro (4) tornillos. LIMPIEZA DEL AGITADOR _ADVERTENCIA Siempre desconecte el cord6n _lectrico antes de reparar alguna parte de la aspiradora. Para un aspirado eficiente, el agitador deber ser mantenido libre de fibras de alfombra, hilos, o acumulaci6n de pelo.
