Remove the charger from the carton and plug into an AC outlet as identified on charger unit and on carton. 2. Place the clipper in the form fitting pocket in the charger base (Diagram B).
5 SAFETY RULES FOR CHARGER AND BA TTER Y P ACK 1. Clipper motor switch must be in the “OFF” position for the charger to operate properly . Do not return the clipper to the charger base with the motor switch in the “ON” position. If the clipper is accidentally put on the charger base in the “ON” position, remove it promptly .
6 2. The charger base is designed to recharge batter y packs that are at, or close to, room temperature (25°C/77°F). If a battery pack is returned to the charger unusually hot or cold, the charger will not enter fast charge mode. This is normal and the batter y pack can remain in the charger .
7 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Please read the following instructions before using your new Andis Clipper . Give it the care that a fine precision built instrument deserves and it will give you years of service. REMOVING BLADE SET T o remove blade set, first make sure your clipper motor is switched “OFF”.
8 CARE AND SERVICING OF YOUR ANDIS CLIPPER BLADES Blades should be oiled before, during, and after each use. If your clipper blades leave streaks or slow down, it’ s a sure sign blades need oil. Place a few drops of oil on the front and side of the cutter blades (Diagram L).
9 CHANGING THE BLADE DRIVE ASSEMBL Y If your clipper blades no longer cut properly (be sure to try more than one blade, since blade currently being used may be dull), it could be that your blade drive assembly needs replacement. T o change the blade drive assembly: 1.

15 USO DE LA FUNCIÓN DE ACTUALIZACIÓN La función Actualizar funciona durante toda la noche descargando primero el paquete de baterías, y luego cargándolo rápidamente. Una carga continua y lenta mantiene la batería al 100 % para uso al día siguiente.

18 CAMBIO DEL CONJUNTO DE ACCIONAMIENTO DE LAS HOJAS Si las hojas de la recortadora ya no cortan correctamente (pruebe con más de una hoja, ya que es posible que la hoja que está usando actualmente haya perdido el filo), podría ser necesario reemplazar el conjunto de accionamiento de la hoja.

24 2. Le socle du chargeur a été conçu pour recharger la batteire à température ambiante (25 °C/77 °F) ou quasiment. Si une batterie très chaude ou très froide est remise dans le chargeur , celui-ci ne passe pas en mode de recharge rapide. Ceci est normal et la batterie peut rester dans le chargeur .

26 A TTENTION : Ne jamais manipuler la tondeuse Andis tout en réglant le débit d’un robinet d’eau, la tenir sous un filet d’eau ni la plonger dans l’eau. De telles manœuvres présentent un risque d’électrocution et d’endommagement de la tondeuse.
27 REMPLACEMENT DE L ’ENTRAÎNEMENT DE LA LAME Si les lames ne coupent plus correctement (essayer plus d’une lame, car celle qui est utilisée pourrait être émoussée), il est possible que le mécanisme d’entraînement des lames ait besoin d’être remplacé.
