2 IMPOR T ANT PRECA UTIONS – Read First! Saf ety W ar nings When using this product basic precautions should alwa ys be follow ed: • Read all the instructions before using the product. • FIRE HAZARD! Do not add fuel with the engine running. Do not operate if fuel has been spilled.
Y ou are now ready to operate y our Karcher Pressure W asher . 3 ASSEMBL Y INSTR UCTIONS Step 1 Slide the handle through the accessory rack. Step 3 Check oil le vel. Oil le vel should alwa ys be between the “FULL ” and “ADD” marks on the dipstick.
4 Step 6 Model K 2200 IB: Slide the throttle con- trol to the fast position. Thenmove the choke le ver to the “CHOKE” position (only if engine is cool).After star ting, move the chok e to “R UN”. Step 7 Pull the starter handle. If the engine fails to start after 3 pulls squeeze the trigger gun to release pres- sure, and repeat step 7.
5 USING THE A CCESSORIES The V ar io spra y wand allows y ou to adjust the cleaning pressure. T o clean at maximum pres- sure, the V ario wand must be positioned to the high pressure setting (+). T o apply detergent, the wand must be positioned to the lo w pressure setting (-).
6 WORKING WITH DETERGENT Step 1 Install the V ario spray wand and set the V ar io spra y wand to the low pressure setting (-) by turning the wand collar . The wand must be set in the lo w pressure (-) position to apply detergents. Step 3 Fill a container with Karcher detergent.
7 SHUTTING DO WN & CLEAN-UP Step 1 Remov e detergent suction tube from container and inser t into one gallon of fresh water . Siphon water at low pressure for one min ute. Step 2 T ur n off the engine. Step 3 T ur n off the water source. Step 4 Press trigger to release water pressure.
CLEANING TIPS 8 Deck Cleaning (with or without detergent) Pre-rinse deck and surrounding area with fresh water . If using Kärcher Deck Wash, place detergent suction tube directly into cleaning solution and apply to surface at lo w pressure. F or best results, limit y our work area to smaller sections of approximately 25 square feet.

If using Kärcher All Purpose Cleaner or Degreaser , place detergent suction tube directly into cleaning solution and apply detergent at low pressure.
