3 OPERA TI NG INSTRUCTIONS SET UP 1. Open the c over of the ba ttery comp artment and insert four AA ba tteries. ( Not included ) 2. Conne ct the coiled cord to receiver and t he telephone base.
4 USING TH E SPEAKER PHONE HANDSFREE CALLING Press the SPEAKER button, the In-U se LED will light. The unit is ready for use as a speakerph one with out lifting the recei ver . Y ou can listen to the caller through th e phone’s speaker . The sound level can be adjuste d by sliding the v olume contro l located on t he right side of the co nsole.
5 TRANSFERRING CALLS When in an office equ ipped with P ABX, your unit makes it easy to transfer calls. • Ask the calling party to wait. • Press and rele ase the flash b utton. • Dial the number of the party you wish to tran sfer to. • When the party answers, announce the ca ll.
