2 When attaching Network P ack KA-D V5000 to D V Camcorder GY -D V5000, network related menus are added to the GY -D V5000 menu screen. This User’ s Guide e xplains settings for the netw ork related menus, operation f or recording streaming data to a CF (Compact Flash) memor y card and operation f or sending streaming data using a LAN card.

Selecting EXECUTE and pressing the SHUTTER dial deletes all clip files on the CF memory card.

13 Netw ork settings Setting user names and passw ords Changing the user name When changing the HTTP USER NAME or FTP USER NAME, “ NEXT STEP SET P ASSWORD ” will appear on the screen and the P ASSWORD menu screen is displa yed.
