For L YNX LX - 3 ONL Y - slowly pull the head light assembly away from the base handle bar joint. 2. Pull back the plastic guards on the RED and BLACK cables connecting the tiller wiring har- ness to the head light assembly .
17 17 Section D - Disconnecting/Connecting Tiller Assembly And Handle Bar Joint (FIGURE 7) DISCONNECTING. 1. Return the front frame assembly to the upright position. 2. Remove the bolt, small washer , two (2) large washers and self-locking nut securing the base handle bar joint to the tiller assembly .

24 24 PROCEDURE 5 SHROUD/FORK/WHEELS/TIE RODS CAUTION DO NOT overtighten the self-locking nut secur- ing the tie r od assembly to the right front axle. Otherwise, damage to the tie rod assembly may occur. 4. Secure the tie rod assembly onto the right front axle using the EXISTING washer and self-locking nut.

Gently slide the controller and the control- ler plate onto the rear frame, making sure the support on the rear frame is positioned in the slot on the controller plate.

Connect the WHITE connector of the transaxle assembly wiring harness to the WHITE connec- tor of the controller wiring harness.
