Introduction 1 Intr oduction The OnBoard Ethernet Controller ( O BEC) is an In tel 82558 ethernet controller device and ma y be detected b y softw are as either and Int el EtherExpress PR O/ 100+ or an Intel 82558 ethernet controller . The OBEC ma y be enabl ed or disable d through the BIOS Setup utility .
