Quick N EZ Foldable Bike Trailer Owner’s Manual for Model QE100A Please keep this Owner’s Manual for future reference. If you sell or give this product to someone else, please include this Owner’s Manual, and ask the new owners to read the instruct ions completely before operating.
FULLY-ASSEMBLED TRAILER PARTS LIST QTY DESCRIPTION QTY DESCRIPTION 1 Frame w/ canopy, sling seat with 5-point 1 2-in-1 rain cover safety harness, tow bar, tow bar coupler, 2 16” rear wheels and rear wheel brackets attached. 1 Safety flag with 3-piece pole and joiners TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY No tools are required to assemble the trailer.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INS TRUCTIONS STEP 1 Remove the trailer from the carton and compare the contents with the parts list 1A 1B 1A. Remove all of the contents from inside the carton and place them on a clean flat surface. 1B. Set the wheels to the side and remove the black plastic caps from the ends of the axles.
STEP 3 Adjust the sling seat 3A 3B Area of detail in photo 3B 3A. Front view of the trailer with the crossbar secured in place. 3B. To provide more comfort, the sling seat can be adjusted by pulling on one or both sets of straps that run underneath the bottom of the seat.
STEP 6 Extend and secure the tow bar 6A 6B 6C 6D Bracket 6A. Lay the trailer on its side with the tow bar at the top and undo the lock pi n from the bracket. 6B. Pivot the tow bar all the way forward until the shaft comes to rest in the front part of the bracket.
STEP 9 Install the safety flag 9A 9B 9C Flag pole 9A. Connect the flagpole sections and find the small opening ne ar the top left edge of the canopy. 9B. Slide the end of the flagpole through the opening in the cano py. 9C. Slide the pole all the way down into the flag pole sleeve near the rear corner.
STEP 12 Coupler attachment for bikes with quick-release rear axles. (Note: If your rear bike tire has two hub nuts please refer to Steps 10 & 11.) 12A 12B 12C 12D 12A. Flip open the quick-release lever, and remove the nut and spring from the opposite side.
STEP 14 Proper use of the 5-point safety harness for one or two children 14A 14B WARNING To avoid serious injury children should always wear the seat belt and shoulder straps! 14A. Proper seating position for one child A. Undo the lap belt buckle and seat the child in the center of the trailer/str oller.
Removal of the trailer from the bike 1. Remove children and all cargo from inside the passenger compartment. 2. Unclip the tow bar safety strap from the “D” ring. 3. Loop the strap back around the bike frame tube so that the strap is free of the bike fra me.
