Installing optional lens LENS-016 or LENS-017 This projector allows the installation of wide angle and long thro w lenses. 1 Remove the optical engine (see the onl ine or PD F version of the projecto r service information). 2 Place the optical engine on the workben ch so that the projection lens faces upward.
4 On the optional lens, remove the lens mount from the end of the lens barrel. To do this twi st it counterclockwise while hold the lens b arrel stationary. 5 Place the lens mount on the metal base of the optical engine. If the lens mount includes a n orientation stamp make sure it is located in the proper position.
6 Fasten the lens mount to the metal base with the sc rews included with the optional lens. The screws a re in a plastic bag taped to the packing mat erial insi de the lens box. See the illustration above for screw locations. 7 Install the lens on the lens mount.
