Preparation for Setu p 6 Surface Condition Optimal fi nger touch quality is dependent on the sel ected surface condition. Y ou can attach the touch module on a wall surface or existing board. It is important to choose a smooth and flat surface area fr ee of protrusions.
Preparation for Setup 7 Measuring the Flatness of the Surface 1. Place a six-foot carpenter’ s lev el horizontally acr oss the proj ection area (board). 2. Locate the point on the lev el furthest awa y from the pr ojection ar ea. 3. Measure the surface flatness on both sides of the pr ojection ar ea.

Preparation for Setu p 10 PT01 Installation Scr een T olerance The ambient light or directl y sun light is possible to impact the screen size of touch area or cause interf erence. In this case, make screen size smaller or turn to pen mode with PointWrite pen for bett er writing quality .
Preparation for Setup 11 Mounting PT01 1. Install the adhesiv e tape on the rear side of the P ointWrite touch module. 2. Following the instruct ions above to position the PT01 on the screen. 3M double tape (thickness: 1mm) is recommended. 3. T u rn ov er the front co ver .
Preparation for Setu p 12 Connecting PT01 Use the USB cable to connect the PT01 for power suppl y . There ar e three wa ys to connect the PT01. Connect PT01 to Pr ojector (Recommended) USB type-A pow er is available for selected projector model. Connect PT01 to Computer USB power ma y be unsta ble under the following conditions: 1.
PT01 Laser Curtain 13 PT01 Laser Cur tain The laser curtain is a perfect plane to cov er the screen in max fan angle of 180 degrees. The laser curtain is require d to b e parallel to the surface with the optimal gap for the effectiv e finger touch performance.
Driver Installati on 14 Driv er Installation Disconnect the USB cable from P o intWrite camera module when installing. Use the Poi ntWrite driver in the PT01 CD to enable the finger touch function. The CD in the PointWrite pen kit does not contain the finger touch function.
Configura tion Setting 15 Configuration Setting T o use the PointWrite, the proper setting of the P ointWrite configuration is needed. The Configuration se tting window will hel p you to set up PointWrite corr ectly . Select Pen Mode during the setting process.

If you want to change the language , click on and then language list will displa y . After selecting your pr eferr ed language, quit the P ointWrite and start the Po i n t W r i t e a g a i n .

PointWrite Calibration 20 P ointW rite Calibration Auto calibration 1 : click on and the calibration process will run automatically . When you choose this m ethod, white image is shown on th e screen and the pattern image is displ ay ed. Manual calibrati on : Click on and the cali bration window will b e projected on the screen.
PointWri te Calibration 21 Use the Poi ntWrite pen to click on the center of calibration cursor immediately after it a ppears. Then the next cursor will displa y . Repeat this process until the last cali bration cursor disappears. After completing calibrat ion, change the mode to Finger T ouch Mode.
