6 Connecting your Monitor for Analo g Be sure to r e ad th e ‘Safety Information’ at the front of this User Guide before carrying out this procedure. 1. T urn o ff your co mputer an d all attached de vices. 2. Connect the s ignal cab le to the vi deo port o n the back of your comp uter .

8 5. Connect the DV I connector at the othe r end of t he signal cable to the DVI port loc ated on th e back of th e graphic s adapter. See picture below. 6. Connect the power cord to the po wer port on the bac k of your mo nitor if the power c ord suppli ed is not attache d to the mon itor .

They do not replace or modify the dis play driver. The Auto Setup instructions require the monitor to be w armed up for 15 minutes.
14 Auto Setup for DOS T o set up the mo nitor automa tically i n DOS, do the following : If the monitor is in standby mode (STAN DBY ON), it may automatically turn off while you are waiting for it t o warm up. If this happens, switch off the monitor and s witch it on again after a few seconds.

20 On-screen display (OSD) control s The se ttings adj ustable with the user control s are vie wed thr ough the O n- Screen Display (OSD). Pres s the OSD E nter button ( ) to activate the OSD. The LCD monitor needs time to become thermally stable the first time you turn it on each day.
