Throttle loc kout The throttle trigger lock is designed to pre v ent accidental operation of the throttle.

English – 11 FUEL HANDLING General Fuel Gasoline • Use good quality unleaded gasoline. • The lowest recommended octane grade is 87 ((RON+MON)/2).
12 – English FUEL HANDLING Fueling Ne ver start the machine: • If you hav e spilled fuel or chain oil on the machine. Wipe off the spillage and allow remaining fuel to e vaporate. • If you hav e spilled fuel on yourself or your clothes , change your clothes .
English – 13 OPERA TING Pr otective equipment General • Do not use the machine unless you are ab le to call for help in the e vent of an accident. P ersonal protective equipment Y ou must use approv ed personal protective equipment whene ver y ou use the machine.
14 – English OPERA TING W ork area safety • Obser ve your surroundings to ensure that nothing can aff ect your control of the machine . • Ensure that no one/nothing can come into contact with the cutting equipment or be hit by par ts if the blade breaks.
English – 15 OPERA TING Kickbac k Kickbac k is the sudden upward motion that can occur if the blade is pinched or stalled in the kic kback zone. Most kickbac ks are small and pose little danger.
16 – English ST ARTING AND ST OPPING Bef ore star ting • P erform daily maintenance. See instr uctions in the section "Maintenance". Star ting • Decompression valve: Press in the valve to reduce the pressure in the cylinder , this is to assist star ting the power cutter .
English – 17 ST ARTING AND ST OPPING • With a cold engine: The machine stops when the engine fires becase the chokel control is pulled out. Press the choke control and the decompression v alve. Pull the star ter handle until the engine star ts. • When the engine star ts, quic kly apply full throttle to automatically disengage f ast idle.
18 – English MAINTENANCE General • Let your Husqvarna dealer regularly check the machine and make essential adjustments and repairs . Maintenance schedule In the maintenance schedule you can see which parts of your machine that require maintenance, and with which intervals it should take place .
English – 19 MAINTENANCE Cleaning External c leaning • Clean the machine daily by rinsing it with clean water after the work is finished. Cooling air intake • Clean the cooling air intake when needed.
20 – English MAINTENANCE Replacing the drive belt • First release the two bolts and then the adjuster scre w to release the belt tension. • Now unscrew the bolts and dismantle the belt guard. • Remove the belt from the belt pulle y . • The cutting head is now loose and can be remov ed from the machine .
English – 21 MAINTENANCE Starter Changing a broken or w orn star ter cord • Loosen the screws that hold the star ter against the crankcase and remov e the star ter . • Pull the cord out about 30 cm and lift it into the cut-out in the peripher y of the star ter pulley .
22 – English MAINTENANCE Fitting the starter • T o fit the star ter , first pull out the star ter cord and place the star ter in position against the crankcase. Then slowly release the star ter cord so that the pulley engages with the pawls . • Tighten the screws.
