ASSEMBL Y 12 – English 1151020-95 Re v . 2 2008-03-10 Fitting the loop handle • P osition the handle on the shaft. Note that the handle must be mounted below the arro w on the shaft. • Fit the bolt, securing plate and wing nut as shown in the diagram.

FUEL HANDLING English – 15 1151020-95 Rev . 2 2008-03-10 Mixing • Alwa ys mix the gasoline and oil in a clean container intended for fuel. • Alwa ys star t by filling half the amount of the gasoline to be used. Then add the entire amount of oil.
ST AR TING AND ST OPPING 16 – English 1151020-95 Re v . 2 2008-03-10 Check bef ore star ting • Check that the support flange is not cracked due to fatigue or due to being tightened too m uch. Discard the suppor t flange if it is cr acked. • Ensure the locking nut has not lost its captiv e force.

W ORKING TECHNIQUES 18 – English 1151020-95 Re v . 2 2008-03-10 General working instructions P ersonal protection • Alwa ys wear boots and other equipment described under the heading P ersonal protective equipment. • Alwa ys wear working clothes and heavy-duty long trousers.

Do not use the machine unless you are ab le to call f or help in the ev ent of an accident.
W ORKING TECHNIQUES 20 – English 1151020-95 Re v . 2 2008-03-10 Saf ety instructions after completing w ork • Make sure the cutting attachment has stopped bef ore cleaning, carrying out repairs or an inspection. Disconnect the HT lead from the spark plug.

MAINTENANCE 22 – English 1151020-95 Re v . 2 2008-03-10 Low speed jet L T r y to find the highest idling speed, turning the low speed needle L clockwise respectiv ely counter-clockwise. When the highest speed has been found, turn the low speed needle L 1/4 turn counter-clockwise.

See chapter on T echnical data to see whether your machine is fitted with a catalytic con ver ter . The muffler is designed to reduce the noise le vel and to direct the e xhaust gases a way from the oper ator.
