The machine ′ s vibration damping system reduces the transf er of vibration between the engine unit/cutting equipment and the machine ′ s handle unit.

12 – English ASSEMBL Y Fitting the hand guar d and loop handle (325HD A55,325HE3) 1 Assemble the hand guard and loop handle b y screwing them together . T ake care to align the holes in both par ts. 2 Slide the loop handle and hand guard onto the shaft.
English – 13 FUEL HANDLING Fuel CA UTION! The machine is equipped with a two-strok e engine and must alwa ys been run using a mixture of gasoline and two-strok e engine oil. It is impor tant to accurately measure the amount of oil to be mix ed to ensure that the correct mixture is obtained.
14 – English ST AR TING AND ST OPPING Chec k bef ore star ting • Inspect the working area. Remov e any objects that could be thrown out. • Check the cutting attachment. Nev er use blades that are dull, crac ked or damaged. • Check that the machine is in perf ect working order .
English – 15 ST AR TING AND ST OPPING Air purge: Press the air purge diaphragm repeatedly until fuel begins to fill the diaphragm. The diaphr agm need not be completely filled. Hold the body of the machine on the ground using y our left hand (CA UTION! Not with your f oot!).

English – 17 MAINTENANCE The blades m ust also remain stationar y when the chok e control is in the star t throttle position. IMPOR T ANT! If the idle speed cannot be adjusted so that the cutting attachment stops, contact y our dealer/service workshop .
18 – English MAINTENANCE Cooling system T o keep the working temperature as lo w as possible the machine is equipped with a cooling system. The cooling system consists of: 1 Air intake on the starter . 2 Fins on the fl ywheel. 3 Cooling fi ns on the cylinder .
English – 19 MAINTENANCE Gear housing There are three grease nipples on the gear housing. Use a grease gun to top up with grease . This should be carr ied out appro ximately e very 20 working hours. Use Husqvarna special grease, part no. 503 98 96-01.
