English – 9 GENERAL SAFETY PRECA UTIONS Blades T o ensure good cutting results it is impor tant that the contact pressure between the b lades is correct. The contact pressure is adjusted by turning the screws on the underside of the bar clockwise as f ar as they will go .
10 – English FUEL HANDLING Fuel safety Ne ver star t the machine: 1 If you ha ve spilled fuel on it. Wipe off the spillage and allow remaining fuel to e vaporate . 2 If you ha ve spilled fuel on y ourself or your clothes , change your clothes . W ash any part of your body that has come in contact with fuel.
English – 11 FUEL HANDLING Mixing • Alwa ys mix the gasoline and oil in a clean container intended f or fuel. • Alwa ys star t by filling half the amount of the gasoline to be used. Then add the entire amount of oil. Mix (shake) the fuel mixture.
12 – English ST AR TING AND ST OPPING Chec k before starting • Inspect the working area. Remov e any objects that could be thrown out. • Check the cutting attachment. Nev er use blades that are dull, crac ked or damaged. • Check that the machine is in perf ect working order .

English – 17 MAINTENANCE Gear housing There is a grease nipple and a plug f or filling lubricant on the gear housing. Use a grease gun to fill with g rease. This should be done after e very 60 working hours. Use Husqv ar na’ s special grease. CA UTION! The gear housing must not be filled completely with grease.
