www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 Downrod (c ontinued) DO NO T PICK THE F AN UP BY THE CANOPY OR WIRES. Place the downrod ball into the slot in the ceiling bracket. Put the wires and do wnrod through the canopy . Let the canop y sit loosely on top of the fan.
www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 Wiring T urn the splices upward and push them carefully back through the hanger bracket into the outlet box. Spread the wires apart, with the grounded wires on one side of the outlet box and the ungrounded wires on the other side of the outlet bo x.
www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 Canop y Lift the canopy into place so that the screw holes are aligned . Position the canop y so that, when lifted into place , the canopy ts into the hanging bracket as shown. Screw Holes Insert the two canopy screws found in the hardwar e bag.

www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 F eed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing , then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfwa y into the motor housing .

www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 Remote C ontrol Note: The remote must be pair ed before the fan will operate . Within 3 minutes of rest oring power to the fan, press both the F an OFF button and the F an ON button for at least 4 seconds . Y our fan will turn on to indicate successful syncing.
