5 CANOPY INST ALLA TION Step 4. Attach th e can opy to the crossbar m ountin g br acket with thr ee o f the 8-32 x 2 1 / 2 ” long canopy screws and lock wash ers provi ded with your Casablanca f an.
6 Step 4. T o hang the fan body in th e canopy , support th e fan at the cen ter of th e glass hold er and top support an d insert the ball in to the canopy openin g. Rotate the f an body until the slot in the ball fits in to the pin opposite the canopy opening.

Tu ck the wires into th e canopy with the wire nuts pointed upwards , so that the white an d black wir es are on opposite si des of the can opy and all wires are clear of the canopy openin g.
