26 Getting Star ted T o navigate T ouch Cube T ouch Cube is a three- dimensional, cubic user interface. T o flip the inter face from one side to another , slide your finger left or right on the touch screen.

42 Using Phone F eatures 3.1 Using the Phone Like a standard mobile phone, y ou can use your device to make , receive , and keep track of calls and send messages. The Phone scr een F rom the Phone screen, you can ac cess Call History, Speed Dial, and P hone settings.

44 Using Phone F eatures One -touch Speed Dial Use Speed Dial to call frequently-used numbers with a single tap . F or example, if you assig n a contact to the location 2 in Speed Dial, you can simply tap and hold the key on the Phone screen to dial the c ontact ’ s number .
Using Phone F eatures 45 T o put a call on hold Y our device notifies you when you ha ve another incoming call, and giv es you the choice of rejecting or accepting the call. If you ar e already on a call and accept the new call , you can choose to switch between the two callers, or set up a conf erence call between all three parties.
46 Using Phone F eatures 3.4 Smar t Dialing Smart Dialing makes it easy for you to dial a phone number . When you start entering a phone number or contact name, Smart Dialing will automatically search and sort the contact entries in Contacts and the phone numbers in Call Histor y (including incoming, outgoing , and missed calls).

Select the correct time zone and change the date or time. Note During synchronization, the time on y our XV6900 is updated with the time on your PC.

Store phone numbers , e -mail addresses, home addresses , and any other information that r elates to a contact, such as a birthday or an anniversar y date.
