W hen the V oice Dialer mes sage box appears and you see “Lis tening” on the screen, sa y “Call [name of person]” in a clear voic e into the phone.
Using Phone Featur es 59 Calling a speed dial number T o call a stor ed speed dial number , press and hold a number button. For information on setting up speed dial numbers, see “T o add a contact to speed dial” in Chapt er 3.
60 Using Phone Featur es Answ ering an incoming call Depending if the display is on or off , y ou need to: If the display is on, tap Ans wer or pr ess the CALL ( ) button. If the display is off , the displa y will turn on showing the L ock screen. Dr ag the bar down t o answer the call.
Using Phone Featur es 61 Rejecting a call and sending a t ext mes sage Y ou can automatically send a default te xt message to the caller and reject the inc oming voic e call. Press MENU and then tap Send message when y ou hav e an incoming call to send the t ext message .

64 Using Phone Featur es 2.4 Using Call History When y ou miss a call, the missed call icon ( ) appears in the title bar . Use the Call History tab of the People scr een to check who the caller was or vie w all your dialed numbers and r eceiv ed calls.

66 Using Phone Featur es 2.5 Adjusting Phone Settings Y ou can adjust the phone settings of your phone such as y our voic e mail number , V oice priv acy , and more. T o open the phone settings menu, press HOME ( ) > MENU, and then tap Settings > Call .

Using People 75 Deleting contacts 1. On the All tab, pr ess MENU and then tap Delete . 2. Select the c ontacts you w ant to delete , and then tap Delete . 3. When prompt ed, tap OK . T o delete one contact On the All tab, pr ess and hold the contact, and then tap Delete contact .

78 Using People 3.4 Using Fac ebook and Flickr in People If your c ontacts hav e Fac ebook accounts, y ou can view their curr ent status and upcoming e v ents, and be notified when they change their profile inf ormation. Y ou can also update y our own F acebook status.

Ex changing Messages 91 Crea ting and sending SMS and MMS messages Send short te xt messages (SMS) to other mobile phones. If y ou ex ceed the limit on the number of char acters for a single t ext message, y our te xt message will be deliv ered as one but will be billed as more than one mes sage.
