Getting Acquain ted Re fer ence Guide 1–11 Set th e Time for Home The time on your iP A Q Pocket PC is synchronized with the time on your personal computer when they connect using Acti v eSync. Y ou will need to set the time again if: ■ The battery completely discharges.

1–18 Re fer ence Guide Getting Acquainted P er form a Normal Reset A normal reset is sometimes referred to as a “soft reset. ” Ä CAUTION: P erform a nor mal r eset w hen yo u want to st op all running appli cations. A nor mal r eset w ill not er ase an y progr ams or sav ed data .

Delete E -m ail When you delete e-mail, it is placed in the Deleted Items folder , but the e-mail is not permanently deleted until you tap Empty Deleted Items from the To o l s menu.

3–14 Re fer ence Guide Comm un icat in g Mana ge Folders Y ou can use folders to org anize your e-mail if you are using an e-mail service. Y ou can create additional folders that you can rename or delete. If you are using Acti veSync, you cannot create additional folders in the Inbox.

Press the Record b utton to begin recording, then release the Record button when you w ant to stop recording.

5–12 Re fer ence Guide Usin g Soft ware Copy Music to Y our iP AQ P oc k et PC Y ou can copy music that is in one of the accepted formats from your personal computer to the iP A Q Pocket PC. Y ou drag and drop the music file into the My Documents folder located in memory or on a storage card.
