troubleshooting: USB connect i on problems 23 When I connect a USB cable between the printer and my computer, I ge t an err or sa ying YOU HAVE CONNECTED YOUR COMPUTER TO THE PRINTER'S FRONT USB PORT. You have connected your computer to the camera port on the front of the printer.
basics guide 24 pr inter pr oblems Windows PC only When I connect a USB cable between the printer and my computer, an UNKNOWN DEVICE message appears. Static electricity has buil t up in the cable between your computer and printer. OR You may have a defectiv e USB cable.

Try the following: • Make sur e the paper is corr ectl y ori ented in the IN tra y . • Make sur e the paper w idth guide and the paper length guide f it clos e to the edges o f the paper .

If black prints still show white streaks after cleaning the print cartridges, and you have de te rm ine d tha t the p ri nt cartridges are not low on ink, you may have dropped one of the print cartridges.
