Basic Wiring Diag ram The following wirin g diagram shows the power and motor c onnec- tions for basic operation. The optio nal signal input wiring supports external Fwd and Re v Run command, and a speed potentiometer .
In ver ter K eypad Operatio n • Run/Stop LED – ON when the inverter output is ON and the motor is de veloping torque, and OF F when the in verter output is OFF (Stop Mode). • Progra m/Monitor LED – ON when the in verter is ready for parameter editing (Program Mode) .
• Potentiometer – Allows an operator to directly set the motor speed when the potentiometer is enab led for output frequ ency control. • Potentiometer Enable LED – ON when the potentiometer is enabled for value entry . • Para meter Displ ay – A 4-digit, 7-segmen t display for parame- ters and function codes.

P owerup T est The Power up T est procedure uses minimal parameter settings to run the motor . The proced ure describes two alternati ve methods for commanding the in verter: via the in verter keypad , or via the logic termin als . • Check po wer input and motor output wiring (see page 4 diagram).
Err or Codes The L100 series inv erters will trip on ov er-current, over -voltage, and under-voltage to protect the in verter . The motor output turns OFF , allowing the motor to free-run to a stop. Press the Stop/Reset ke y to reset the inv erter and clear the er ror .
Erro r T rip Conditions Use function code D_08 to access th e error trip conditions for the current error as shown in the table below . Use the Up and Down arrow ke ys to scroll through the trip condition parameters. E35 Thermistor • Thermistor input, [THM] and [L], is over the temp.
