OPERA TING PRINCIPLE The HeatMaster ® is a high performance, direct fired hot water stor age heater , which has indirect heat transfer due to its T ank-in- T ank construction. At the hear t of the HeatMaster ® is a stainless steel cylinder through which the flue tubes pass.

6 EFFECTIVE DIMENSIONS The appliances delivered are f actor y-tested. Upon receipt, remove the packing and chec k that there is no damage to the appliance s. Refer to the dimensions and weights listed below f or transpor t pur poses. The jack et is fitted by the installer on site (see the assembly instructions in the wooden protectiv e case) .

8 BOILER ROOM Important • K eep vents free at all times. • Do not store inflammable products in the boiler room. • Do not store corrosive products near the boiler , such as paints, solvents , chlorine, salt, soap and other cleaning products. • If you smell gas , do not switch on the light or light a flame .
9 INST ALLA TION HO T W A TER CONNECTIONS Pressure reducing valve If the mains water pressure is greater than 6 bar , a pressure reducing valv e must be fitted. Expansion relief valve The tank expansion relief v alve must be A CV approved and calibrated to a maximum of 7 bar .
10 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Electrical supply The boiler operates on a single-phase supply of 230V/50Hz. Y ou should install a control box with a doub le-pole switch and a 6 A fuse or a 6A circuit breaker e xter nally to the boiler to allow the boiler to be isolated from the power supply f or ser vicing and repairs.

14 Draining the boiler’s primary circuit 1. Put the main switch on the control panel to OFF , cut the outside power supply and close the gas-supply v alve to the boiler . 2. Close the isolating valv es (4) or manually set the 4-wa y valv e (1) to “0”.

This is the standard MCBA mode. The MCBA automatically returns to this mode after 20 minutes if no ke ys have been pressed on the screen.
