Combustion in the Harman TL300 is precisely controlled and is divided into two parts. During combustion, primary air enters at the bottom front of the stove and travels up channels at either side of the front door .
Begin with the bypass damper open, and the air control lever at the maximum setting, all the way to the right.
Always remember to open the bypass damper when you are loading, this allows the exhaust gases to pass directly into the ue outlet and reduces the chance of smoke spillage into the room.
19 Sometimes it will be necessary to clean accumulated ash from the glass surface; allowing this ash to remain on the glass for long periods can result in “etching” due to the acidity of the ash.
20 When wood is burned slowly , it produces tar and other organic vapors, as well as soot, which combine with expelled moisture to form creosote.
The TL300 offers a unique stainless steel cooking grill that can easily be taken in and out of the stove for easy cleaning.
