Battery Charging E Important Notes • Y our new battery must be c harged for at least 18 hours bef ore you use it in y our vehicle f or the first time. • W e recommend that you star t charging your battery bef ore beginning assembly of y our new v ehicle.
Battery Charging T M Pb • Plug the charger connector into the batter y . • Plug the charger into a standard 120 volt w all outlet . Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled by a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the battery for at least 18 hours.
Assembl y • P osition the taillight cov er with the inside arrow pointing upward. • Fit the taillight cover to the taillight. • Inser t two #8 x 1 / 2 " screws through the holes in the taillight cov er and into the taillight. • Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriv er .
Assembl y T M • Fit the motor har ness between the vehicle body tabs . Motor Har ness Narrow Rectangular Opening Ta b Ta b T op View • Fit the tabs on the left footboard into the slots in the left side of the vehicle fr ame. Make sure both tabs are in the slots.
Assembl y T M Right Exhaust Pipe - Outer Half • Fit the outer half of the r ight exhaust pipe (R) to the inner half of the right exhaust pipe . Hint: Use a long-shafted screwdriv er to complete this assembly step . • Align the holes in the inner half of the r ight exhaust pipe with the holes in the vehicle fr ame.
Assembl y • Slide an axle bushing (flat side first) on the wheel axle. Axle Bushing Flat Side Wheel Axle Wheel He x Bushing He x Bushing • Fit two hex b ushings, barrel side first, into the center hole in a wheel.
Assembl y T M Steering Bushing V ehicle F rame Neck • P osition the vehicle fr ame so that the front f aces you. • Fit a steer ing bushing underneath the neck of the vehicle fr ame. • Inser t a #8 x 3 / 4 " screw through each side of the steering bushing and into the nec k.
Assembl y • Fit the rear headlight assembly to the front head- light assembly . • Inser t six #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the rear headlight assembly and into the front headlight assemb ly , as shown. • Tighten all six screws using a Phillips screwdriv er .
Assembl y Headlight Assembly F ront Fork • P osition the headlight assembly front side do wn on a flat surf ace. • Fit the front fork onto the headlight assembly , as shown. • Inser t f our #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the front f or k and into the headlight assembly .
Assembl y • While holding the r ight mirror and switch co ver firmly together , inser t two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the s witch cov er . • Tighten both screws using a Phillips screwdriv er .
Assembl y • Slide the left handlebar through the holes in the left side of the front f ork (the side with the flashing light). • Slide the r ight handlebar (with the handlebar har ness) through the holes in the right side of the front fork. IMPORT ANT! DO NO T inser t the handlebar har ness through the holes in the front f ork.
TM Assembl y Windshield Handlebar Assembly Retainer Handlebar Har ness • P osition the handlebar assembly f ace down. • P osition the windshield cur ved side do wn. • Slide the windshield down ov er the headlight assembly . • Inser t f our #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the front f or k and into the windshield.
Assembl y T M • Slide the fork axle up through the bottom of the front f ork, through the neck and steering stop, and out the top of the front f ork. • Fit a .354 (small diameter) cap nut on the end of the f ork axle. • Suppor t the f ork axle and tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the end of the axle.
• Inser t the handlebar harness into the wire clip on the side of the vehicle body . Assembl y • Loosen the screw in the sound bo x batter y compar tment door using a Phillips screwdriv er and open the batter y compar tment. • Inser t three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries in the sound bo x as indicated in the batter y compar tment.
Assembl y • Fit a mirror lens to a mirror . • Inser t a #8 x 1 / 2 " screw through the bac k of the mirror and into the mirror lens. Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er . Do not over-tighten. • Repeat this procedure to assemble the other mirror lens to the other mirror .
Assembl y • Being careful to keep the shocks correctly positioned, align the hole in a shock with the hole in the handlebar . Slide the remaining wheel axle with .437 cap nut (assembled in step 14) thr ough one shock. Hint: If the hole in the shock and handlebar do not align, the front f ender is not properly seated on the front fork.
Assembl y • T ur n the vehicle upright. • Fit the fender tip onto the front of the f ender . • Inser t two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the f ender tip and into the vehicle fr ame. • Tighten the screws with a Phillips scre wdriver . Do not ov er-tighten.
Label Decoration G Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the follo wing guidelines in mind: • Wash y our hands before applying the labels . • Before applying the labels , wipe the surface of the v ehicle with a clean, dr y cloth to remove an y dust or oils.

T M IMPORT ANT! Use only P ower Wheels ® 12 volt battery . Use of any other battery will damage your v ehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery for at least 18 hours using the enclosed P ower Wheels ® 12 volt charger bef ore operating your vehic le for the first time.
If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.
