IMPORT ANT! Remov e the cap nut assembly tools from the rear axle and sav e them. The cap nut assemb ly tools will be used f or assembly steps - and then discarded when the rear wheel assembly is complete .
• Inser t a lock w asher into the pedal slot. Mak e sure the r aised tabs on the loc k washer are f acing the closed, or outside end of the pedal. • Repeat this procedure to fit the other lock w asher into the other pedal. Outside End of P edal P edal Slot Raised T abs • Snap a rear wheel cov er into the recessed area in each rear wheel.
• Place a scrap b lock of wood under the front wheel assemb ly . • Fit a pedal onto one end of the front axle. • With the lock w asher centered ov er the front axle end, tap the pedal until it is secure. • Repeat this procedure to attach the other pedal to the other end of the front axle.
• Snap the frame cov er (wider side f acing f orward) on the underside of the frame. • Inser t the f ork post through the frame hole making sure the pointed end of the f ender faces f orw ard. • Fit the handlebar onto the f ork post. • Place the ke y console on the center of the handlebar , so that the ke y f aces the rear .
• Place the tank on the frame, as sho wn. • Align the hole in the tank with the hole in the frame. • Inser t one 5 / 8 " screw through the tank and into the frame.
