- 1 4 - H8259 1 0" x 1 8" Benchtop Lathe 5. Move the belt tension lever down, adjusting tension so that ½" of belt deflection is mea - sured as shown in Figure 12 , then tighten belt tension lever screw. 6. Tighten the motor mount screw.

UNPLUG LATHE FROM POWER! 2. Hold the headstock spindle wheel securely while turning the faceplate counterclockwise until it is removed.
