H2867 Electric Shear -4 - OPERATION Adjustments Your Model H2867 includes a set of three thickness shims: 0.005", 0.008" and 0.013". These shims are used to set the gap size between the side of the shear jaw and the moving cutter.
H2867 Electric Shear -5 - Operation If you are cutting a large dimension of sheet metal, use a large flat working sur- face such as a workbench to support the work as shown in Figure 3 . Once the cut lines have been determined, turn the shears ON and begin the cut.
H2867 Electric Shear -6 - Cleaning Shear Use a good solvent to clean the jaw assembly of the shear. Avoid getting sol- vent on the plastic body of the shear as it may damage the plastic. Always be sure that the shear is dry before using it again. Do not allow dust, chips, sand, etc.
