INST AL LA TION INSTR UCTIONS The H077 5 T aper At tachment mounts quickly to the back bed wa y of the G40 1 6 Gear Head Lathe . Accurate tapers of up to 1 2" can be produced without repositioning the attachment. The H0775 fea tures s cales at both ends, reading in ches- per - foot and de grees.

With the main body loosely fastened (see Figure 6 ), move the slide block back and forth, by either pulling/pushing on the lead screw or turning the cross slide handwheel. Stop when the pin in the slide block can be inserted into the hole in the slide.
Angle Adjustments The taper angle is adjusted by loosening t he t wo cap screws at the ends of the dove tail slide o n the taper at tachment. The angle adjusting k nob allows for fine co ntrol of the angle ( Figure 9 ). There are t wo sc ales, one at each end of the main body .
