G9922 -17 - Ass em bly Assembly for the M odel G9922 c onsists of put- ting together the machine stand, attaching the machine to the st and, then inser ting the s anding spindl e . T o assembl e t he machine : 1.
-18 - G9922 7. In each corner of the sander base, line up the holes in the sander and both upper braces, then insert one M8-1.25 x 16 carriage bolt, as shown in Figure 14 . Secure it with a 10mm washer , 8mm lock washer , and one M8-1.
G9922 -1 9 - 10. Place the sanding drum into the spindle and thread it by turning it counterclockwise ( Figure 16 ). 11. T o easily access the spindle nut, move the dust cover out of the way by removing the two hex bolts that secure it to the machine base ( Figure 17 ).
-20 - G 9922 5. Turn the machine OFF . 6. Remove the switch disabling key , as shown in Figure 19 . T est Ru n Once the assembly is complete, test run your machine to make sure it runs properly and is ready for regular operation.

-22- G9922 T able Ti lt The table on the Model G9922 can be tilted up to 45° for sanding bev eled edges. To tilt the table: 1. DISCONNECT SANDER FROM POWER! 2. Loosen the two lock knobs, located on each side of the table tilt assembly ( Figure 22 ).
G9922 -2 3 - Con t ou r Sa nd in g To sand a workpiece: 1. DISCONNECT SANDER FROM POWER! 2. Adjust the table tilt, if desired. 3. Ensure that the spindle hex nut is secured tightly and that the work area is free of obstructions and obstacles.
-24 - G 9922 San di ng Slee v e The s anding sleeves on the Model G9922 can be replaced when the y bec ome worn or damaged. To replace sanding sleeves: 1. DISCONNECT SANDER FROM POWER! 2. Use a 19mm wrench on the sanding drum base nut to keep the spindle from turning ( Figure 29 ).
