Selecting the rig h t blade for the job de pends on a va riet y of factors, such as the t ype of mate - rial being cut, hardness of the material , machine capabilit y , and operat or technique .
-26- G 1 01 0 4 " x 6" Metal -Cut ting Bandsaw The vise can hold material up to six in ches wide and be set to cut angles f rom 0 to 45 degrees. T o adjust the angle on the vise : 1. Loosen the lock nut with a 12mm hex wrench or socket as shown in Figure 30 .

Tips for horizontal cutting: • Use the work stop to quickly and accurately cut multiple pieces of stock to the same length (see Figure 34 ).
