However, your saw components will operate at their best if the bearing surfaces are kept clean—this is especially important for the trun - nion bearings.

If variations exist, loosen the set screw in the 45˚ tilt stop nut ( Figure 8 3 ) and adjust the stop nut until the blade and square match.
