Grandstream GXP-2000 is a next-generation enterprise SI P telephone that is feature rich, ea sy to use, supports Power-over-Ethernet.

C OMPLETING AND A NSWERING P HONE C ALLS Handset, Speakerphone and He adset Mode Handset can be toggled between Speaker or Headset. To switch between Handset and Speaker/Headset, press the Hook Flash in the handset cradle or press the SPEAKER button. NAT Traversal This parameter activates the NAT traversal m echanism. If activated (by choosing “Yes”) and a STUN server is also specif ied, the phone performs a ccording to the STUN client specification. Using this mode, the embedded STUN client detects if and what type of NAT/Firewall configuration is used.
Force INVITE Session Timer can be ref reshed using INVITE method or UPDATE method. Select “Yes” to use INVITE method to refresh th e session timer. PRACK (Provisional Acknowledgment) method enabl es reliability to SIP provisional respo nses (1xx series).

A FQDN consists of a host and domain name, including top-level randstream.com is a fully qualified domain name. www is the host, or rom the telephone comp any like AT&T. They should also operate the same es (by an FXO interface, of course).
MTU A Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) i s the largest size packet or frame , specified in octet s (eight- bit bytes), that can be sent in a packet- or frame- based network su ch as the Internet.
UDP User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is one of the core protocols o f the Internet protocol suite . Using UDP, programs on networked computers can send short message s known as datagrams to one another. UDP does not provide t he reliab ility and ordering guarantee s that TCP does; datagrams may arrive out of rder or go missi ng without notice.
