Using Electrical Cords 3A2587H 7 Using Electrical Cords Grounding and Electrical Requirements This 120 Vac sprayer requ ires a 120 Vac, 60 Hz, 15A circuit with a g rounding receptacle. Never use an outlet th at is not grounded or an adapter. Do not use the sprayer if the electrical cord has a da m- aged ground prong.

Common Procedures 3A2587H 9 Reversible Spray Tip In the event that particles or debris clog the spray tip, this sprayer is designed with a reve rsible spray tip that can be used to qu ickly and easily clear th e particles and resume sp raying as qui ckly as po ssible.
Overheating Protection 10 3A2587H Overheating Protection The motor has a built-in fea ture to protect itself from overuse. If the moto r stops , the thermal switch has tripped. Do not return sprayer to store. The motor will operate normally after co oling for 20-30 minu tes.
Starting a New Job (o r Refilling the Materia l Cup) 3A2587H 11 Starting a New Job (or Refilling the Material Cup) 1. Engage trigge r lock and p ut prime/spra y valve UP to release pressure . 2. Install material cup lin er, fill with ma terial, and thread on to sprayer.

Discard contaminated fluid and refill with appropriate flushing fluid. 10. Disengage trigger lock, reverse spray tip to UNCLOG position, and pull trigger for 5 seconds to prime sprayer.
Storage 3A2587H 17 Cleaning Sprayer Exterior • Wipe paint off outside of sprayer using a soft cloth moistened with water o r flushing fluid. Do NOT submerge the spr ayer. Do NOT use solv ents with a flash point greater than 100° F (38° C). Storage 1.

Inlet Valve Fitting Removal/Service 3A2587H 21 Inlet Valve Fitting Removal/Service 1. Engage trigger lock and pull prime/spray valve UP to release pressure. 2. Remove material cup, flexible suction tube, and unplug. 3. Hold sprayer upside-down and use wrench to loosen and remove inlet valve fitting, inlet valve, and spring.
