Dis connect the fl uid hose and place a c on- tainer a t the pump fluid outlet to catch any fluid.

Repair 332245E 17 Reconnect th e Displacement Pump 1. Tilt the ai r motor onto its bac k, then han d turn the displac ement pum p into the a dapter plate . Set the pump u pright again . 2. Hold the a ir motor p iston rod up wi th one han d. With your oth er hand, p ut the coupli ng nut (1 06) on the displac ement rod.
Repair 18 332245E Disconnect th e Air Motor 1. Flush the p ump, if po ssible. See Flush , page 10. Relieve the pres sure. See Pressu re Relief Pr oce- dure , page 9. 2. Disconn ect the air hose, fluid hos es, and the ground wire (109). 3. Hold the fl ats of the air motor piston rod with a wrench.
