Repair 312068M 3 Repair Flushing • Flush out old fluid with ne w fluid, or flush out old fluid with a compatib le solv ent bef ore introducing new fluid. • Use lowest possible pressur e when flush ing. • T o flush entire system, circulate through gun fluid manifold (with manifold remov ed from gun) .
Repair 4 312068M Pumpline Disassembl y 1. Remov e plug fitting (206) from lube cylinder (205). 2. Inser t cle vis pin remov al tool 29660 7 through ope n- ing in lube cylinder (205) and screw tool into left cle vis pin (219). Pull clevis pin out of clevis (117).
Repair 312068M 5 6. Attach the cle vis pin (219) to the clev is pin tool. Inser t cle vis pin through hole in lube cylinder and into the left clevis. 7. Gently tap end of cle vis pin tool with hammer to slide clevis pin (219) into place . Remov e cle vis pin tool from clevis pin.

Repair 8 312068M 3. Using supplie d bolts in the cylinder seal ki ts, press seal (16) into outlet fla nge (26). Ensure seal faces cylinder . Assemble bu shing (13) throat seal (29) and gask et (17) into flange retaine r (27) and f asten to outlet f lange.

Repair 12 312068M 18. Using the f ar , top tie -rod, attach cylindrical spacer (114) to th e right side of the assembly . 19. Attach one h exagona l spacer (113) to th e other end of the tie ro d. Do not tighten. 20. Attach one hexagonal spacer to ea ch end of the b ot- tom, near tie-rod .
Repair 312068M 13 33. Hold the right cle vis stationary with a 1 in. open-end wrench and, b y tur ning the baffle jam nut with a 1 in. torque-wre nch, torqu e the ri ght clevis to 15 ft-lb (20 N•m) against the act ivat or plate. 34. Hold the left cle vis stationar y with a 1 in.
Repair 14 312068M 36. Hold th e left cle vis stationar y with a 1 in. open- end wrench to keep the c ross-holes h orizontal an d torque the baffle jam nut aga inst the hydraulic piston shaft to 15 ft-lb (20 N•m) using a tor que wrench.
