Operation 10 312001R Operation Tr i g g e r L o c k Alwa ys engage the trigger loc k when you stop spra ying to pre vent the gun from bein g tr iggered accidentally b y hand or if dropped or bumped.
Setup 312001R 11 Setup 1. Unscrew tip and guard assembly from gun. 2. Uncoil hose and connect one end to gun. Use tw o wrenches to tighten securely 3. Connect other end of hose to spra yer . NO TE: If hose is already connected, make sure connections are tight.
Setup 12 312001R 1. Make sure the po wer s witch is OFF and the spra yer is unplugged. 2. Separate prime tube (smaller) from suction tube (larger). 3. Place prime tube in wast e pail. 4. Submerge suction tube in water or flushing solvent. 5. T ur n Pr ime/Spra y V alv e to PRIME.

Setup 14 312001R Getting Star ted Use a piece of scrap cardboar d to practice these basic spra ying techniques bef ore you beg in spray- ing the surf ace. • Hold gun 12 in. (30 cm) from surf ace and aim straight at surf ace. Tilting gun t o direct spra y angle causes an une ven f inish.
Setup 312001R 15 Tip Selection Selecting Tip Hole Size Tips come in a v ar iety of hole siz es for spra ying a range of fluids . Y our spra yer includes an 0 .015 in (0.38 mm) tip f or use in most spra ying applications. Use the f ollowing tab le to deter mine the range of recommended tip hole siz es for each f luid type.
