Using Electrical Cords 8 3A0159E Using Electrical Cor ds Gr ounding and Electrical Requirements This 120 V ac spra yer requires a 120 V ac, 60 Hz, 15A circuit with a ground ing receptacle . Ne ver use an outlet that is not gr ounded or an adapt er . Do not use the spray er if the electr ical co rd has a da m- aged gr ound prong.

Setup 10 3A0159E Setup Overheating Pr otection This spra yer has a b uilt-in protectiv e de vice to prev ent damage fr om ov erheating. The spray er may automati- cally shut do wn after hea vy use. If this happen s, allow the spra yer to cool down f or 20-30 minutes an d resume spra ying.
Setup 3A0159E 11 Spra yer Setup This spra yer arrives from the f actor y with a small amount of test mater ial in the system. It is impor tant that y ou flush this material or any stora ge fluid from the spra yer bef ore using it. 1. Plug spr ay er into a properly-grounded outlet .
Setup 12 3A0159E Materials • When spra ying water-base d mater ials, flush the spra yer thoroughly with water . • When spra ying non-water- based materi als, flush the spra yer thoroughly with mineral spirits or com- patib le, oil- based flushing fluid.

Storage 18 3A0159E Cleaning Spra yer Exterior • Wipe paint off outside of spra yer using a sof t cloth moistened with w ater or flushing fluid. Do NO T submerge the spra yer . Tips • Tips will require replac ement depending on abrasiveness of paint.

Remov e mater ial cup and f ill with flushing material. 3. With spray er in p rime mo de, turn spra yer upside-do wn, remov e strainer and slowly pour flushing mater ial in to the intake tube until full.
