Installation 332511A 7 2. Install the Heat Coils and the Thermostat Switch. 3. Connect the Ground Wires. Connect the g round wires to the terminal lug and to the plat en co vers (not shown in view). Attach the con duit to the platen co v er and route the wires through the conduit when connections are complete .
Installation 8 332511A 4. Connect the P o wer Leads. Label “A” and “B” lead s f or identificat ion in step 10. Ro ute all the wires t hrough the conduit when connections are complete. 5. Mount the RTD . Route the wire thr ough the conduit when connections ar e complete .
Installation 332511A 9 6. Attach the Platen Co ver s. NO TE: T orque the p laten co v er f ast eners to 60 +/- 10 in-lbs (6.8 +/- 1. 1 N•m). NO TICE T o pr e v ent damage to wires, ensure w ires are not pinched when assembling and secur ing platen cov- ers.
Installation 10 332511A 7. Mount the Junction Bo x. a. Mount t he junction bo x to the air motor located on the 55 gallon (208 liter) r am. b . Route the conduit to the junctio n bo x from th e platen. 8. Mount the Heat Electrical Panel on the 5 Gallon (19 liter) Ram.
Installation 332511A 11 9. Route the P o wer Cor d and Signal Cab le to the J unction Bo x. Secure the power cord and signa l cable to the ba se (A) cross bar . 10.Connect the Leads in th e J unction Bo x. Connect “A” leads , “B” leads , gr ound, and signal cab le within the junctio n bo x.

Setup 332511A 13 Setup 1. T urn the power on at the heated pl aten electrical enclosure. 2. T urn the power on at t he heater po wer s witch. 3. Set the de sired platen tem peratur e by pr essing either the up or down arrow ke ys. NO TE: T emperature is displa yed in F ahrenheit.

Maintenance 332511A 15 Maintenance Platen Maintenance If the plat en does no t come out of the pail ea sily when the pump is being raised, the a ir assist tube or check v alv e ma y be plugg ed. A plugged v alve pre v ents air from reaching the underside of the plate to assist in raising it from the pail.
