3 www .gate wa y .com Setting up the monit or T o connect the power and video cables: 1 Position the monito r and your computer so you can easily get at the back panel of each. Make sur e that all p ower cab les can re ac h a correctly ground ed electrical outlet.

T o mainta in FCC standards, only use the cord that c ame with the monitor . 5 Plug the other end of the p o wer cord into a c o rrectly gro unde d elec tric al outlet.

6 ww w .g at eway . co m Using You r VX730 or VX 930 Monitor Star ting the monitor T o start the monitor: 1 Press and hold the power button for approximately one second. The power LED turns on, and the mon itor demagnetizes itself for about f iv e seco nds.

17 www .gate wa y .com Trou bleshooting Pic ture is scrambled If the picture is scrambled or does not look right, you can reset t he monitor to its default video mode and resolution settings. T o reset the monitor settings: 1 Restart your computer , then press and hold F8 while your comput er is starting up.

19 www .gate wa y .com Trou bleshooting Image cannot be adjusted full screen Some video modes used by the monito r produce images that cannot be adjusted all the way out to the bezel edge (the edge wher e the screen glass and monitor casing meet). This condition does not i ndic ate tha t the monitor is defective.
